My name is Dean Kavanagh and I am the owner and principle artisan of my Northern California company. I have performed high grade, furniture quality, carpentry for over 20 years - with the last 10 years exclusively dedicated to crafting showpiece staircases.

Crafting beautiful staircases is the most complicated and challenging branch of carpentry. I take an artistic approach to each project with an eye toward creating a timeless addition to my client’s home. I specialize in one-of-a-kind projects incorporating unique shapes and materials.
